the Pool

The Donzellino offers its guests a rectangular pool of 6.5 x 15 meters, without chlorine, which boasts a large area of respect around it.

the Farm

The Donzellino extends for 23 hectares: most of the forest and Mediterranean vegetation, as well as 5 hectares for olive groves.

the Maremma

The Maremma Grossetana, is the area included in the province of Grosseto, along the coast between the Gulf of Follonica and the mouth of the river Chiarone, which flows into the sea to the south of the Argentario promontory. Among the main towns of Grosseto, Follonica, Castiglione della Pescaia, Porto Santo Stefano and Orbetello, as well as Massa Marittima.

To the north towards Livorno:
 - Bolgheri * with the famous Viale dei Cipressi.
 - Castagneto Carducci, Campiglia Marittima, Suvereto are examples of medieval architecture, placed on the hills offer beautiful views to the sea.
 - Populonia, an Etruscan and then Roman city, dominates the Gulf of Baratti, offers a splendid view of the Island of Elba and preserves an ancient Etruscan necropolis.

To the east towards Siena:
- Abbey of San Galgano, characteristic for the absence of the roof and its architecture stands isolated in the valley, is home to concerts.

At the junction with the Colonna di Montarrenti, take the left to Colle Val d'Elsa and continue to San Gimignano *, famous for its towers.
From Siena on the highway towards Florence you can see Monteriggioni with its beautiful city walls.
To the south-east towards the Amiata:
Crossing Montemassi, Roccastrada, Civitella Paganico you then take the Valle d'Orcia with the famous Crete Senesi and centers like Montalcino *, Pienza, Montepulciano *.
On the Amiata (the highest mountain with 1730 mt.) Beautiful walks, excellent mushrooms and in Santa Fiora the famous enamelled terracotta of the Della Robbia.
To the south towards Rome:
Near Castiglione della Pescaia is the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve, one of the largest wetlands in Europe with hundreds of species of birds including osprey and pink flamingos.
Following the coast to the south of Grosseto, there is the Uccellina Natural Park and then the Argentario peninsula with the center of Orbetello in the lagoon and Porto Santo Stefano on the coast.
Continuing you can get to Capalbio and visit The Tarot Garden by Niki de Saint Phalle.
Going inland you can visit the area of ​​the "tuff" with Pitigliano * (the small Italian Jerusalem for the Jewish colony still present), Sorano and Sovana of Etruscan origin.
* In these centers you can buy excellent wines and make visits to wine cellars.

the Products 

The Donzellino, perpetuating the family tradition, produces Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Aromatic Oil with Basil, Rosemary, Pepper and Sage. It also produces an excellent olive paste.
